Stability with Friendships

There are times you think that under stress you may need to push away,
it could find an easier way when you pull yourself closer for support.
I recall building a tree house in a good size tree, it took myself and another friend to hand each other the wood that was on the ground.
Next we had to make sure that we did not go to far on to the end of the limbs, due to not being strong enough for support.
And finding the good size of limb, or one more developed for a brace.
Of course building with fresh lumber would help for the tree house to last.
Looking at my life for this next year, will I try to build my future on a strong infrastructure or not?
The groundwork built upon God, family and friends and an open heart will be the only way to succeed.
If I started with a tree with a healthy tree with deep roots and a strong base, I would feel secure to begin.
Having a strong durable limb, my tree house would be complete if it was created for more than myself, that would be test to see how secure I developed it.
It would only last by using new lumber and not old and rotted wood.
This year of 2014 will be a test to see if I can help to enforce new and old relationships by using a right heart, mind and attitude with forgiveness to be able to assist ones in need, if they ask or not, seeking out will be a greater attribute to express what a true friend is all abut.
I do recall working with ones building when they found some lumber with a rough spot or a knot that wold affect that piece, they would cut that rough part out and still used the rest of it. That way you never wasted the money they put into it. A builder tries to help the home owner to try to save their finances, just like a friend will be there to lift friends up, while trying to build and strengthen good relationships by being a friend through tough and rugged times. I could have never made it this far without my wife, family, God and friends.
